Meet The Family Behind
Cross Creek Meats, LLC
Who We Are
The Williams family is a multi generational farm family located near Eustis, NE. The heart of their operation is their Black Angus cattle herd where they raise a combined 650 head. When not calving, weaning, or feeding, you can find them planting, irrigating, or harvesting crops to feed their cattle and the community. Hay, corn, wheat, and soybeans are found scattered throughout their rolling hills and deep canyons in south central Nebraska. Brad and Lisa live on the home place in a house purchased by Brad's parents back in the 1950's. Brad grew up raising cattle and harvesting crops; it's all he has ever wanted to do. He is thankful to get to continue the legacy of agriculture instilled by his parents. Lisa grew up near Ord, Nebraska on her family's farm. She could be found helping her dad on the farm every chance she got. After coming to Eustis and meeting Brad, they were married. Lisa was grateful to take on a full-time role on the farm. Lisa and Brad have two children together, Ansley and Bladen. They are in high school and are keeping their parents busy with school events and sports. Being passionate about their herd's health, they also have become Riomax distributors, which is a high quality protein mineral supplement. From Brad's first marriage, he has two sons, Derek and Darin. Darin is married to Melissa. He works as a pharmacist and she is a doctor in Omaha, Nebraska. They have two of the cutest puppies and enjoy the big city life. Derek inherited the love of agriculture and has cattle and crops of his own while continuing to help on the family farm. Derek not only farms and ranches, but is also the owner and operator of other businesses, including Plum Creek Applications, an organic manure spreading business. He also is an LG Seed salesman. Derek is a true entrepreneur and loves to think big. Derek is married to Morgan who is from a family farm near Blair, NE. Morgan and Derek met while in college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing degrees in agriculture. After graduation they were married and Morgan went back to school to become a teacher. After five years in the classroom, Morgan has decided to stay home to help raise their three young children, Wilder, Whitten, and Wilkes. Raising livestock and farming is not for the faint of heart. Long hours, extreme weather conditions, and a chore list that never ends can be daunting and draining to say the least. But, when you are committed to a life of agriculture and loving the land, you get up every morning willing to serve your Creator knowing that you are feeding the world. It doesn't get any better than that! Lisa and Morgan are very passionate about women in agriculture and are advocates for all women, no matter how big or small the role they play, helping to portray the country way of life.
