Cross Creek Meats, LLC ships on Mondays every week unless otherwise stated.
If you are picking up your beef locally, please choose "Pick up-" at checkout we will contact you.

Shipping is Only Available Within the Continental United States.
Cross Creek Meats, LLC is processed in a USDA Inspected facility where it is frozen and labeled appropriately. We ship this beef to you at the beginning of the week to help ensure it arrives to you in a timely manner.

Your Cross Creek Meats, LLC order will be shipped in a insulated shipping box. We hope that all meats will arrive frozen. Be aware that thawing can occur due to weather, shipping delays or small orders that do not fill a box. All meat should arrive “cool to the touch” or at refrigerator temperature.

Our goal is for your order to arrive frozen. To ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, our products are shipped in an insulated shipping box packed with dry ice.

***Dry Ice Caution*** It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated during shipping. Use protective gloves to handle dry ice or allow it to dissipate on its own. Avoid contact with bare skin.

Your products should be frozen or cool to the touch at time of arrival. Place them into the freezer or refrigerator immediately upon receipt and inspection. If they do not feel cool to the touch upon arrival, please email crosscreekmeats@gmail.com within seven (7) days of receipt, provide a description of the damage, and a photo (s) of the order in the state it was received. Claim filing is time sensitive and photos are required to show proof of damage.
You will receive an email confirming your order was placed and shipped. A shipping tracking number will be sent when your order is processed. The billing customer is responsible for ensuring that the recipient will be able available for delivery. It is highly recommended you monitor the package to ensure that it can be received by you or your designated recipient.

Please reference the shipping confirmation email that contains tracking number and expected delivery date by carrier.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship our beef boxes to P.O. Boxes. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide and verify the correct shipping address.

Cross Creek Meats, LLC is not responsible for damage to the products if recipient is not available to accept the shipment at time of delivery. We ship without required signature to ensure your product arrives in a timely manner. Damage to the products due to an incorrect or incomplete address voids our guarantee.

FAQs
Does somebody need to be home to accept delivery?
Our boxes do not require a signature upon delivery.

Important Information for Business Address:
We recommend that you have the order delivered to your home address to avoid any shipping issues due to the office/business being closed for any reason. We do not have information on when your business is open/closed etc. and are not able to account for this when shipping. Carriers deliver on evenings and weekends are we are not able to guarantee delivery on a certain date or time. Should your package be delivered to a business when it is not open, the carrier will not leave the package and will attempt to deliver the following business day. In the event the delivery date is altered due to business closure we are not able to guarantee the delivery.
How will my order arrive? Is it frozen?
Cross Creek Meats, LLC is frozen, vacuum sealed, and labeled at a USDA processing facility. The meat is shipped within a insulated box and packed with dry ice.

The beef should arrive frozen or partially frozen with ice crystals still visible or at least refrigerator cold – below 40 degrees F as measured with a food thermometer. Beef should be placed in the freezer or refrigerator immediately upon arrival.

In the event of damage or carrier delay to your order that results in your beef arriving above 40 degrees F (measured with a food grade thermometer) or you feel your order is compromised or unsafe in any way, notify us immediately by email crosscreekmeats@gmail.com.

When will my order arrive? Where can I view my shipping information?
Our Nebraska corn fed beef is shipped to your door on Mondays.

In the event of a holiday during the shipping week or if there is an unforeseen event that causes a delay, we may ship on a different day. Shipping times are dependent on your zip code and transit time.
Once your order is in transit you will receive an email with the tracking number.

All of our boxes are packaged with a specific amount of dry ice, which is calculated based on your geographic location/transit time. The dry ice may be completely evaporated when delivered on the guaranteed date, but your beef should still be frozen or cold to the touch/at a safe temperature for freezing. Orders are packed to sustain their frozen state up to the guaranteed delivery date.

We suggest that you use your home address for shipping to avoid any shipping issues/delays due to limited business hours and closures due to holidays. Once your order is in transit you will receive an email with the tracking number.
Please check your spam folder if you believe your order has shipped and you have not received tracking information.
What if I am not happy with my order/item received?
We strive to provide a great selection of quality product delivered to your door.

Please contact crosscreekmeats@gmail.com if you are not satisfied with that quality of an item received or experience any packaging issues. Please add a description of issue and a photo(s) of the item in question and package label for assessment within 2 days of receipt. Photos are necessary to help us see what you are experiencing and offer an appropriate resolution which may include replacement of the product in question, credit towards your next order, or a partial/full refund.
How do I safely handle/dispose of the dry ice?
Each order from Cross Creek Meats, LLC contains Dry Ice. The bag that contains the dry ice is clearly labeled with a black and white sticker. In the even that your order was handled roughly handled, it is possible for the dry ice to shift during transit, and some may fall out of the bag.

You should always wear gloves and protective clothing when handling dry ice. Prolonged contact with skin can cause injury.
Safe handling tips:

Dispose of unneeded dry ice by letting the unused portion sublimate in a well-ventilated area. Please be sure that you do not leave this in a public area or area where it can be accessed by children or pets.

You should never dispose of dry ice in a sink, toilet, or other device. This can destroy the structure because of the temperature difference.

Do not place dry ice on a tiled or solid surface countertop as the extreme cold will cause damage.
